I was wondering whether in a few years you think there is anything that the supermarkets won't be selling us? I am hard pushed to think of anything other than pets that they donot offer. I hear they are looking to set up a car purchasing facility or at the very least become affiliated to car dealerships. Is this a good thing do you think?

Well, I think Tesco is sellling just about everything now lol. I can't buy a car there yet, but I don't think it will be too long. Wonder if you'll get the points for that too! Sure would help the grocery bill!

I have noticed that about supermarkets too. Years ago all they would sell at supermarkets was food. But now you can get things like greeting cards, household items, even shovels.

Really? Cars in the supermarket? I find that very hard to believe. But you never know....

I think the idea is that you order instore but only new models which may be parked outside. For example a few Vauxhalls under a small marque. They use these marques for gardening stuff at our local store.
Used cars I don't think they would go anywhere near as they don't have the room. I guess they would be like a dealership in that respect although I don't know how much less the price would be.
