My job wanted me to buy a certain printer to use for home. It was an HP printer. I looked at different store's sales papers and found different prices. I was about to go run across town and buy it where I saw it the cheapest, then decided to look at HP's website. I actually saw it for the same price as the lowest priced store, so I bought it online and got free shipping.

I've found this to be true with a number of items. Airline tickets are a great example ...the airlines often offer 'deals' that even the discount online travel agents don't have. It pays to check the websites!
